About the Role
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered nurse who supports clinical and operational activities within an assigned shift under the supervision of the unit director/manager. They utilize the nursing process to manage patient care, assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services, and provide managerial presence across shifts.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of patient-centered, whole-person care.
- Assist in managing clinical operations and staff coordination.
- Utilize leadership skills in acute care settings, including charge nurse experience.
- Contribute to shared governance and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in nursing.
- Active RN license in Alaska.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred experience in acute care, leadership, charge nurse roles, and shared governance.
Pay
Competitive pay range between $60.35 and $95.27 per hour, with potential for extra compensation through shift differentials, bonuses, and overtime.
