- Supporting team management activities such as hiring, onboarding, and performance feedback
- Aiding in productivity and departmental goals
- Contributing to budget awareness and resource management
- Promoting high-quality patient care and compliance with organizational standards

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose:
Coordinates patient care, personnel management, maintenance of equipment, equipment purchases, and statistical accumulation.
Responsibilities:
- Hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, and creates professional development plans
- Manages productivity and actions of the group to support departmental goals
- Develops departmental staffing, revenue, and/or expense budgets and adheres to goals
- Supports staff hours worked vs scheduled hours and determines appropriate disposition if there is a variation
- Performs and approves daily payroll updates, reconciles time cards, bonus tracking, and coding approval
- Prepares, coordinates, and executes all staff communications; prepares huddle agendas and leads meetings
- Determines staffing needs; makes nursing assignments and assigns overtime
- Recommends effective annual increases
- Interviews staff for open positions; evaluates and conducts performance reviews as assigned; drafts and issues corrective actions/coaching; follows up regarding any disciplinary action to ensure compliance
- Responsible for staff productivity and the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership
- Conducts performance evaluations and makes recommendations on areas of improvement if needed
Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
Experience:
- 2-5 years for the OR nurse
- 5-10 years for the ANM
Licenses & Certifications:
- RN preferred
