Assistant Nurse Manager - Multidisciplinary ICU - Day Shift

Role Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to lead a new multidisciplinary ICU. This leadership role supports the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and ensuring high patient care standards. The ANM acts as a mentor, resource, and clinical leader, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Include Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential. Managing staff: hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.Supporting departmental staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes.Overseeing patient care planning, documentation, and ensuring interventions meet patient needs.Monitoring staff productivity, conducting performance reviews, and managing disciplinary actions.Participating in staffing decisions, payroll, and staff communication.Ensuring safety and adherence to policies in a safety-sensitive environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.RN licensure required.2-5 years of experience; leadership experience preferred.Additional experience of 5-10 years and supervisory experience under 2 years is preferred.
