About the role

Seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to lead a new multidisciplinary ICU. The role involves supporting the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and ensuring high standards of patient care. The ANM acts as a mentor, resource, and clinical leader, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development
• Developing departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, and ensuring adherence
• Overseeing patient care tailored to patient needs, documenting interventions, and creating collaborative care plans
• Managing staff productivity, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring operational goals are met
• Handling staff communication, scheduling, payroll, and disciplinary actions

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, RN license, 2-5 years of experience, critical care experience; Leadership Experience Preferred.

Preferred: MSN degree, 5-10 years of experience, supervisor experience less than 2 years.
