About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to lead a new multidisciplinary ICU.
Responsibilities
- Support the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Manage staff by hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and facilitating professional growth.
- Participate in staffing, budget development, and ensuring departmental productivity aligns with operational goals.
- Oversee patient care planning, documentation, and ensure treatment meets patient needs.
- Lead staff communication, scheduling, payroll reconciliation, and disciplinary actions.
- Promote a collaborative work environment and foster staff performance improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN required; MSN preferred).
- 2–5 years of clinical experience in critical care; leadership experience preferred.
- Current RN licensure.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
