Assistant Nurse Manager - Mental Health Unit

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered nurse responsible for managing clinical and operational activities during assigned shifts, supporting the unit's planning, organization, and evaluation. The ANM oversees clinical and non-clinical staff, ensures compliance with nursing standards and regulations, and fosters a culture of quality care through coaching, mentoring, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support patient-centered care and maintain policy compliance.
• Provide managerial presence across shifts.
• Oversee clinical and non-clinical staff during assigned shifts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Active Alaska RN license.
• BLS certification.

Qualifications

Preferred experience includes:

• Charge nurse roles.
• Leadership or shared governance involvement.
