Assistant Nurse Manager - GI Lab

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations within a specialized endoscopy department. Responsibilities Supervise staff including hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.Participate in staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes to meet departmental goals.Ensure delivery of patient care aligned with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans, documenting appropriately.Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on patient needs.Manage staff productivity, handle payroll processes, and coordinate staff communications and meetings.Make staffing decisions, assign nursing duties, and conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed. Qualifications & Skills RN licensure with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.2-5 years of nursing experience, with some leadership experience preferred.Strong supervisory, organizational, and communication skills. Key Duties: Ensuring quality patient care, managing staff and operations, maintaining equipment, and supporting department efficiency and compliance. Additional requirements include availability for phone support and preferred experience in charge or leadership roles.
