Overview

This role involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing statistical data within an emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
• Participate in developing departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
• Provide and oversee patient care based on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans, ensuring documentation compliance.
• Create collaborative care plans tailored to patients' age and developmental needs.
• Oversee staff productivity, conduct performance evaluations, manage scheduling, and handle disciplinary actions.
• Lead staff, ensure quality patient care, manage operational and financial goals, and foster team collaboration to support department excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required; BSN degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience is desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in emergency care or related settings is preferred.
