About the Role

This position supports clinical excellence by assisting the Nurse Manager in maintaining high-quality patient care, safety, and service standards. It involves acting as a staff nurse or relief charge nurse, leading unit-based initiatives, and coordinating staffing, training, and evaluation of staff. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, accountability, and continuous improvement to enhance the patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staffing, training, and staff evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Lead unit-based quality improvement and patient experience initiatives
  • Mentor and coach staff, providing real-time feedback
  • Participate in unit projects and clinical quality reviews
  • Build collaborative relationships and promote a positive work environment
  • Manage clinical quality, compliance, documentation, and education related to nursing standards

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
  • Current RN license and CPR certification
  • Knowledge of hospital policies, safety standards, and legal regulations
