About the Role

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, supporting clinical excellence, safety, and service standards. They serve as a staff nurse or relief charge nurse, assuming leadership responsibilities delegated by the Nurse Manager, and help implement unit strategies to improve patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, training, evaluation, and staff management.
• Coordinate unit-based education on quality care, compliance, and documentation.
• Ensure clinical quality through routine surveillance and regulatory readiness.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and real-time feedback to staff.
• Participate in budget planning and special projects.
• Communicate effectively and promote a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school with a Bachelor's in Nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
• Current Texas nursing license and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, clinical standards, and legal aspects of nursing.
