About the Role

Functions as a staff nurse or relief charge nurse and assumes delegated leadership duties to support clinical quality, safety, and service excellence. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, clinical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively, and build relationships to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating staff, as well as managing unit operations.
• Oversee clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and patient experience initiatives.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, real-time feedback, and support staff development.
• Lead unit-based education on quality care topics and handle special projects as delegated.
• Coordinate staffing and unit operations, monitor clinical quality, and promote a collaborative environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and a passion for quality and safety in patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school; BSN required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Current RN license in Texas and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, clinical standards, and regulations.
