Tradition Hospital features a state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab. The lab specializes in minimally invasive, nonsurgical procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases, performing interventions like balloon angioplasty, stenting and imaging through small catheter insertions. By joining the Cath Lab as an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will encourage caregivers to enhance their skills and the patient experience through improvement initiatives and incentives. You will also interact with the patient before, during and shortly after the procedure to help put their mind at ease.
30% of your day will consist of administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, Kronos, providing education and training and coordinating with providers, while the other 70% will consist of hands-on patient care. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care.
