Assistant General Manager at KidSrong North Austin

Responsibilities

• Sales & Growth: Conduct 75–100 outbound calls daily to acquire members, finalize trial sales and memberships both over the phone and in‑center, and sell/schedule revenue‑boosting events such as camps, birthday parties, and community pop‑ups.
• Team Leadership & Coaching Culture: Serve as Manager on Duty when the General Manager is off; partner with the GM to onboard, train, evaluate, and mentor coaches using the KidStrong Coach DNA framework; foster a feedback‑rich coaching culture and model high standards across Slack, email, and center operations; manage the Lead Coach/Sales Manager.
• Center Operations & Experience: Track center KPIs, sales numbers, and member retention to make operational decisions; deliver top‑tier customer service, resolve family inquiries, and maintain strong community relationships; oversee daily, weekly, and monthly center maintenance, equipment safety, and brand standards.
• Hands‑On Coaching (5–10 hrs/week): Deliver the KidStrong curriculum focusing on brain, physical, and character development for kids ages 15 months to 11 years; use the KS Coaches App to track attendance, awards, and student progress.

Qualifications

• Prior coaching or sports experience working with children (ages 15 months – 11 years); pediatric OT/PT experience is a major plus.
• Comfortable making high‑volume outbound phone calls, closing sales, and hitting performance goals.
• Natural leader who leads by example, brings high energy, and embraces a growth, low‑ego mindset (“Best Idea Wins!”).
• Physically able to work in an active environment, move through classes, set up equipment up to 25 lb, and engage with kids.
• Proficient with Google Workspace or Microsoft platforms; able to learn systems such as LearnUpon, ADP, CareerPlug, or CRM software.
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain) and ready to complete KidStrong HQ Coach Certification.

Pay

Competitive salary ranging from $37,000 to $42,000 per year (full‑time, approximately 40 hours/week).

Schedule & Location

Typically 4 weekdays plus 1 weekend shift, based in‑person at KidStrong North Austin, Austin, TX.
