The Assistant Director of Rehabilitation at Pine Crest Health & Memory Care in Merrill, WI, is a full-time position offering growth and leadership opportunities. This role combines management training (20%) with patient care responsibilities (80%), providing hands-on learning experiences within an in-house therapy environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Train and mentor new therapists and staff members.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and policies.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience in rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
- Completion of an accredited residency or fellowship program.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate others.
Skills
- Proficient in evidence-based practice and therapeutic interventions.
- Skilled in patient education and discharge planning.
- Knowledgeable about the latest rehabilitation techniques and technologies.
