Responsibilities
- Manage revenue generating initiatives for Virginia Tech Athletics.
- Oversight of the implementation and management of digital platforms (email, web, mobile app, etc.).
- Contribute to digital marketing efforts for an assigned ticketed sport (Football, or Men's or Women's Basketball, or Baseball).
- Collaborate with other team members and Athletics department staff in content creation, content distribution, and the measurement of digital campaign success.
- Ensure all content aligns with the university's brand standards and organizational objectives while maintaining a focus on achieving measurable results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, sports management, or another comparable program with relevant experience, or a master's degree.
- Strong attention to detail, copywriting, and editing skills.
- Experience developing marketing automation and digital advertising campaigns.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work outside normal working hours, including nights and weekends when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Eloqua, WMT, and Vozzi (or comparable platforms).
- Experience in a NCAA Division I college athletics department or professional sports organization.
Pay, Benefits, and Schedule
Pay Band {lPayScaleID} Overtime Status Exempt: Not eligible for overtime Appointment Type Restricted Salary Information $44,000 Hours per week 40+. Nights and weekends as needed.
