Assistant Director - Banking & Capital Markets Sales Representative
About the role
The role involves managing the full sales lifecycle for a client account base, identifying new sales opportunities, and acting as a point of contact for C-level executives. Responsibilities include market credit risk products and service solutions to the Commercial Banking & Capital Markets sector, meeting or exceeding established revenue targets, and representing the company at industry and company-sponsored events.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, including identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients, leveraging existing relationships, and handling contract negotiations.
- Market credit risk products and service solutions to the Commercial Banking & Capital Markets sector.
- Meet or exceed established revenue targets by generating new revenue and defending and growing existing revenue streams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for C-level executives, such as the Chief Risk Officer or Chief Financial Officer, at client companies.
- Collaborate with Product Specialists, Strategists, and other internal teams to leverage appropriate expertise throughout the sales cycle.
- Provide current sales forecasts and pipeline information to management.
- Represent the company at industry and company-sponsored events.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of relevant professional experience at a top-tier consulting firm, financial services company, or tech company. They should have a basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. A strong track record of successfully developing a network of clients and nurturing deep relationships with C-Level prospects is also required.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) required.
Skills
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts.
- Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
- Established track record of successfully developing a network of clients and nurturing deep relationships with C-Level prospects.
- Experience negotiating complex, strategic, high-revenue impact deals.
- Deep understanding of the competitive landscape for financial products and services.
- Strong knowledge of the sales process, including pipeline management, priority organization, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Experience in delivering thought leadership through publications or speaking engagements is a plus.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $94,500.00 - $137,100.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
