$44.15 - $66.25 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN and/or graduation from an Allied Health Sciences Program.
- Three years of experience in a Cardiac Invasive Lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Current registration, license, and/or certification in applicable state as a Registered Nurse and/or registration/certification by Allied Health Sciences program.
- Current Certification in BLS and ACLS.
Responsibilities
- Manages patient care and staff, promoting a cooperative working environment through effective communication.
- Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and facility.
- Facilitates an environment conducive to optimal patient outcomes through Quality Improvement activities.
- Ensures ongoing professional development of staff and self.
- Ensures staff achieves department work objectives for organized patient care.
- Coordinates TJC disease-specific certifications.
- Coordinates all departmental POCT competency and quality controls as directed by the hospital’s POCT coordinator.
- Ensures age/developmentally appropriate patient procedures are provided in accordance with Age-Specific Guidelines.
- Adheres to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
- Provides effective and efficient operation of the Cardiac Invasive Labs.
- Directs and controls staff activities and other operational functions to ensure age-appropriate patient care.
