About the role

The Asset Logistics Technician plays a crucial role in managing the movement and status of assets within the data center. This position involves accepting hardware deliveries, monitoring spare parts inventory, auditing asset status, and coordinating with other team members to support asset integration and decommissioning efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Accept all hardware deliveries and manage asset status
  • Maintain the spare parts inventory and handle RMA (Return Merchandise) requests
  • Audit asset status in the data center daily
  • Coordinate with other Asset Logistics Technicians to support asset integration and decommissioning
  • Support additional shipping and receiving tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of proven experience in asset management or data center shipping/receiving
  • Experience with asset tracking or ALM (Asset Logistics Management) software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passion for excellence in data center operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in a team environment to provide support and excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

High School/GED degree is the minimum education requirement.
