Compensation Range: $21.41/hour plus $1.00/hour additional pay.
Responsibilities
- Work from bill of material (BOM), assembly drawings, prints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to assemble sheet metal parts and components using various hand and power tools as needed.
- Lead morning Tier Meetings with direct reports in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Update Production Tier Boards and provide updates to the team members at daily Tier Meetings.
- Receive and sign for purchase components and materials needed to build specific work orders in production areas.
- Ensure scheduled orders are built per the production schedule to meet ship dates.
- Direct and assist flow lane employees with daily work assignments.
- Ensure daily labor is entered and in-process check sheets are completed as required.
- Enforce safety practices, including the use of PPE.
- Assist supervisor with skills and knowledge development of existing and new employees.
- Complete quality assurance inspection and in-process paperwork.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area; notify supervisor of issues concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, or documentation.
- Perform or assist with operations throughout the factory to maintain workflow and meet schedules and quality requirements.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to safety rules.
- Participate in meetings and work groups for training, integration, communication, problem resolution, and policy updates.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Blueprint and schematic reading skills.
- Proficiency with measuring devices and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Use of hand and power tools.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly at Munters.
Training
- Munters Corp Orientation.
- Quality and Safety Assurance Awareness.
- Electrical training.
Schedule
Standard work schedules with overtime and weekend hours required to meet production needs.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally move up to 75 lbs.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, lift, grasp, and reach.
- Visual and aural acuity, including listening skills.
