Role Overview

As an assembly technician, you will work on production lines, collaborating with technicians, supervisors, quality control, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure high standards of manufacturing, safety, and quality. Your primary responsibilities include assembling and disassembling components using hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools, following detailed work instructions, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You will also troubleshoot, cross-train, and support operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

  • Perform assembly/disassembly operations per work instructions
  • Utilize tools and fixtures accurately to ensure product quality
  • Maintain safety protocols and workplace organization (5S)
  • Inspect, clean, and prepare components for assembly
  • Follow SOPs and safety guidelines, including PPE requirements
  • Assist with problem-solving and cross-training to improve team flexibility
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of basic mechanics, hand tools, and testing procedures
  • Preferred: 1+ year experience in mechanical assembly/disassembly
  • Ability to identify and use various tools and measuring devices
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills are a plus

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay rate: $22.50
