About the Role
Assemble urethane and rubber caster wheels on the Symbotic production line with a focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assemble wheels following work instructions and production requirements.
- Prepare components, press bearings into hubs, and laser-etch serial numbers.
- Request materials from the stockroom to support production flow.
- Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards.
- Verify work orders and documentation for accuracy.
- Maintain organized work areas and adhere to safety procedures.
- Communicate issues related to quality, materials, or processes to leadership.
- Support other assembly operations and perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred; familiarity with hand tools and industrial equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, ability to follow instructions, and teamwork skills.
- Effective time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions.
Work Environment
Manufacturing setting with exposure to industrial equipment, noise, dust, and the use of PPE.
