Assembler - Manufacturing

About the Role

Assemble urethane and rubber caster wheels on the Symbotic production line with a focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wheels following work instructions and production requirements.
• Prepare components, press bearings into hubs, and laser-etch serial numbers.
• Request materials from the stockroom to support production flow.
• Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Verify work orders and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain organized work areas and adhere to safety procedures.
• Communicate issues related to quality, materials, or processes to leadership.
• Support other assembly operations and perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred; familiarity with hand tools and industrial equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, ability to follow instructions, and teamwork skills.
• Effective time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions.

Work Environment

Manufacturing setting with exposure to industrial equipment, noise, dust, and the use of PPE.
