Role Overview Responsible for assembling products such as stuffing boxes, using blueprints, hand and power tools, and measuring devices. Key Duties Identify components needed for assembly Assemble equipment accurately, ensuring proper alignment Inspect completed units and verify proper operation Notify management of malfunctions and assist in troubleshooting Conduct hydrostatic tests and perform finishing tasks like painting Operate forklifts for material handling Perform other assigned duties Qualifications & Skills Ability to read blueprints and interpret instructions Knowledge of shop safety and quality assurance practices Mechanical aptitude and experience in assembly processes Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities Physical Requirements Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle tools Work near mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles Visual acuity for detailed inspection Education & Experience High school diploma or GED, plus vocational/technical training Ability to pass drug and background checks
