About the role
Pfeffer Torode Architecture is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer with a focus on commercial and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of professional experience, a strong portfolio, and a passion for creating impactful designs.
Responsibilities
- Taking on leadership roles on multiple projects
- Managing and producing throughout all project phases
- Participating in all aspects of the design process
- Developing detailed and high-level construction documents
- Collaborating effectively with the design team, trade partners, and clients
- Ensuring compliance with applicable local codes
Requirements
- A professional degree in Architecture, BArch or above
- An Architectural License in at least one state (preferred but not required)
- Strong conceptual and spatial design abilities
- Knowledge of construction and technical detailing
- Effective communication skills, both written and graphic
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Willingness to collaborate in a fast-paced, design-forward environment
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including Revit, SketchUp/Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Track record of successfully completed commercial and hospitality projects
- Experience in leading project teams
- Ability to produce detailed and high-level construction documents
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
