About the role

Pfeffer Torode Architecture is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer with a focus on commercial and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of professional experience, a strong portfolio, and a passion for creating impactful designs.

Responsibilities

  • Taking on leadership roles on multiple projects
  • Managing and producing throughout all project phases
  • Participating in all aspects of the design process
  • Developing detailed and high-level construction documents
  • Collaborating effectively with the design team, trade partners, and clients
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable local codes

Requirements

  • A professional degree in Architecture, BArch or above
  • An Architectural License in at least one state (preferred but not required)
  • Strong conceptual and spatial design abilities
  • Knowledge of construction and technical detailing
  • Effective communication skills, both written and graphic
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Willingness to collaborate in a fast-paced, design-forward environment
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software including Revit, SketchUp/Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Track record of successfully completed commercial and hospitality projects
  • Experience in leading project teams
  • Ability to produce detailed and high-level construction documents
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
