Architectural Designer (3-5 Years) - Commercial & Hospitality Focus

About the role

Pfeffer Torode Architecture is seeking an experienced architectural designer with a focus on commercial and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of professional experience, strong conceptual and spatial design abilities, and a commitment to contributing to the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Production level and project-manager-in-training tasks across all phases of design
• Participate in all aspects of the design process
• Create detailed and high-level construction documents
• Communicate effectively with the design team, trade partners, and clients
• Showcase self-motivation and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, design-forward environment
• Utilize industry-standard software including BIM: Revit, 3-D modeling: SketchUp or Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture, BArch or above
• Strong conceptual and spatial design abilities
• Working knowledge of construction and applicable local codes
• Experience producing detailed and high-level construction documents
• Effective communication skills, both written and graphic
• High-degree of self-motivation and resourcefulness
• Willingness to collaborate in a fast-paced, design-forward environment
• Proficiency in industry standard software including BIM: Revit, 3-D modeling: SketchUp or Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
