About the Role
Ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the region for accounts receivable processes. Candidate must live in Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Meet in person and virtually with AR teams regularly to address questions and issues.
- Ensure statements are accurately and timely generated based on industry standards.
- Manage performance outcomes by planning, monitoring, evaluating, and improving accounts receivable.
- Oversee the collection process to reduce receivables by improving the timeliness of payments.
- Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of payer contracts and ensure billing aligns with contract provisions.
- Supervise the use of billing systems and maintain knowledge of system upgrades and enhancements.
- Protect the confidentiality of patients and organizational information through effective controls.
- Assist local leaders in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and managing billing team members.
- Monitor compliance of resident trust accounts.
- Review and analyze accounts receivable reports, summarizing information and identifying trends for management.
- Demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in job responsibilities.
- Teach, train, and work with Office Managers to help achieve goals.
- Travel as needed.
- Assist with the overall supervision and management of regional accounts receivable staff.
Requirements
- 2-year degree in a business field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience with PointClickCare (facility and management).
- Knowledge of corporate communication, business management, governmental, and private insurances.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to manage and train teams.
- Detailed-oriented, dependable, and strong work ethic.
Skills
- Ability to understand technical procedures and read/comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership and employees.
- Type 50+ WPM and navigate the internet proficiently.
- Apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged time at a computer, standing, walking, and sitting.
- Reaching with hands and arms, travel by car and airplane.
- Frequent talking and hearing.
- Vision requirements: ability to adjust focus, close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
- May assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
