About the role
The Spare Parts Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while managing spare parts requests for airlines and maintenance facilities. This role requires strong coordination with internal teams to ensure timely quoting, purchasing, allocation, and certification processes in compliance with aerospace industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Review and process customer part requests, completing quotes, purchases, and allocation of spare parts.
- Handle FAA 8130-3 certification change requests in collaboration with the Quality team.
- Receive critical part requirements from customers and enter them into the Critical Part List for planning team visibility.
- Generate Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and Debit Memos as appropriate and authorized.
- Partner with Pratt & Whitney internal teams to manage and release spare parts orders when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong customer service skills with proven ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in SAP, with hands-on experience using transaction codes preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Experience working with Pratt & Whitney systems is highly desirable.
Education & Compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR restrictions.
