Customers can order 24/7 via our CONNECT portal or mobile app, accessing digital tools for product availability, pricing, orders, invoices, secure payments, and product specifications.

About the role

The primary function of this position is to process and pay expenses and purchases for Cameron Ashley Building Products' distribution branches, and to bill direct customers for goods sold accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure invoices are paid based on terms to allow customers to take advantage of all discounts.
  • Process direct shipments to customers, including billing.
  • Process stock invoices for all branches.
  • Interact with various departments to maintain timely and accurate invoicing, including problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Support distribution branches and sales staff.
  • Review all AP journals daily to ensure correct invoice processing.
  • File all documents daily with the correct journal number and date.
  • Assist with month-end closing.
  • Process a minimum of 2,600 invoices monthly.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • 2 or 4 years of accounts payable experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass drug test and background verifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
