About the role
Perform fluoroscopy and imaging procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory according to physician's orders, utilizing advanced technology and judgment to ensure quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Act as a scrub assistant during procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Serve as a preceptor for less experienced technologists
Requirements
- Graduate of a certified Radiologic Technology program
- Current state licensure and national registration (ARRT-R)
- BLS certification
Qualifications
- Experience levels range from Level I to Level III
- Increasing requirements for clinical experience
- Proficiency with Cath Lab equipment
- Certifications such as ACLS and RCIS may be required depending on level
