Angiography Technologist

About the Role

The Angiography Technologist II performs fluoroscopy and image acquisition procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory, following physician orders and applying sound judgment in imaging techniques, exposure factors, and patient care. They assist during procedures, act as scrub assistants or monitors, and serve as preceptors for less experienced technologists.

Qualifications

• Completion of education required for national board certification in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of one year of experience in Angiography or Cardiac Catheterization
• Current licensure as a Radiological Technologist
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Advanced certifications preferred for Level III

Skills

• Technical proficiency in imaging and Cath Lab equipment
• Knowledge of Cath Lab operations and procedures
• Strong judgment and decision-making in imaging techniques and patient care
• Ability to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care
• Collaborative teamwork and mentorship of less experienced technologists
