About the role
Perform fluoroscopy and imaging procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory to support diagnosis and treatment, following physicians' orders.
Responsibilities
- Act as a scrub assistant and monitor during procedures
- Serve as a preceptor for less experienced technologists
- Participate in education or quality improvement projects
Requirements
- Graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology program
- Current LRT license and BLS certification (Level I)
- 1-year angiography/cardiac catheterization experience, ACLS, BLS, LRT, and ARRT-R (Level II)
- 2-year experience, proficiency with Cath Lab equipment, current licensure, ARRT-R, ACLS, and preferred advanced certifications (RCIS, CI, VI) (Level III)
Skills
- Knowledge of imaging techniques and equipment operation
