About the Role

As the Gallery Host (Customer Service Agent) at Hyatt Place Gainesville Downtown, you will contribute to our commitment to high-quality customer service and teamwork. This role is responsible for creating a positive experience for our guests by maintaining a welcoming, hospitable, and clean environment. You will oversee guest services, including the Gallery Host station, coffee service, guest kitchen, internet room, and television room. Additionally, you will handle check-in and check-out procedures and provide support for meeting rooms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service to create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and comfort in guest areas, including the Gallery Host station, coffee service, guest kitchen, internet room, and television room.
• Perform check-in and check-out procedures for guests.
• Provide support and services for meeting rooms as needed.
• Ensure a positive and memorable guest experience through attentive and efficient service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or similar field.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English (oral, written, and reading comprehension).
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A genuine desire to meet the needs of others in a dynamic setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
• Physical ability to lift, pull, or push moderate weight (minimum of 20 pounds).
• Basic computer skills.
