About the Role
The Gallery Host (Customer Service Agent) contributes to Hyatt Place’s commitment to high-quality customer service and teamwork. This role is responsible for creating a positive experience for guests by maintaining a welcoming, hospitable, and exceptionally clean and comfortable environment. The Gallery Host oversees guest services, including the Gallery shelf, coffee, guest kitchen, internet room, and television room, as well as handling check-in and check-out procedures. Additionally, this position provides support for meeting rooms and ensures all guest needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service to create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and comfort in guest areas, including the Gallery shelf, coffee station, guest kitchen, internet room, and television room.
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures for guests.
- Provide support and services for meeting rooms as needed.
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Uphold Hyatt’s standards of quality and excellence.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or similar field.
- Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English (oral, written, and reading).
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Genuine desire to meet the needs of others in a dynamic setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical ability to lift, pull, or push moderate weight (minimum 20 pounds).
- Basic computer skills.
