Analyst, Solutions
About the role
Provides expert technical advice, consults to customers and sales team, and architects Canon solutions based on customer needs. Balances consulting on process improvements with technical skills/experience.
Responsibilities
- Strategizes/Develops/Participates in solutions revenue initiatives with assigned internal Sales teams.
- Develops active plans for achieving Software Solutions and Professional Services revenue targets with each Sales Manager.
- Identifies improvement opportunities in customer business processes through interactions with customers, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Generates highest level of system requirements based on customer needs and constraints like budget and schedule.
- Ensures requirements are consistent, complete, accurate, and operationally defined.
- Develops Proof of Concepts (POC) for customer review and approval, when necessary.
- Develops Statements of Work (SOW) outlining customer requirements and Canon deliverables.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience. Experience supporting software sales with an internal Sales team is required. Direct Sales experience is a plus. Thorough understanding of IT systems and terminology. Excellent verbal and written communications, adaptable to different client levels (External Customers, Internal Sales Leadership, Internal Sales Reps). Demonstrable organizational skills and attention to detail. Desirable: Cloud and Microsoft Server certifications, Canon and 3rd Party Software Certifications, Consultative Sales, Document Management/scanning applications and workflows, Output Management Solutions, Security Services, Extensive travel (up to 70%, overnight stays), Valid drivers' license and acceptable driving record, Certain minimum auto insurance coverages, Industry certifications (CompTIA Cloud Essentials+, CompTIA Project+, CompTIA Security+), Production-specific certifications (Certified Color Management Professional or black and white printing experience), Knowledge of production room software, High speed black and white operator production experience.

Pay
$76,150 - $114,040 annually.
Schedule
Hybrid - Full-time position with a hybrid work schedule requiring in-office attendance three days a week and remote work the remaining days (subject to change based on business needs).
