About the role

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is seeking an Analyst, Sales in New York, New York.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with major U.S. and global hedge funds to drive high-value transactions through research engagement, corporate access facilitation, and catalyzing opportunistic trading flows.
  • Integrate proprietary systems and cross-office insights to optimize client solutions and market strategies.
  • Support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding Morgan Stanley’s market share and enhancing overall sales execution.
  • Strengthen and maintain connectivity between US and London operations to foster continuous innovation and competitive differentiation.
  • Create detailed market content notes to distribute to applicable clients and drive U.S. based client engagement.
  • Manage account coverage and advisory efforts for clients in the U.S.
  • Foster relationships with key decision makers, CIO’s, portfolio managers, and investment analysts to assist in their capital allocation process.
  • Ensure equity sales products are available for clients when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field of study.
  • Requires two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Analyst, or a closely related occupation.
  • Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills:
    • equity market analysis;
    • financial modeling and valuation techniques;
    • market microstructure;
    • institutional client relationship management;
    • cross-office global collaboration;
    • market commentary preparation;
    • corporate access coordination;
    • client coverage and pipeline management;
    • Bloomberg Terminal;
    • customer relationship management systems including Client Manager;
    • institutional pricing and analytics systems;
    • cross-asset investment insight integration;
    • regulatory and compliance;
    • and supporting strategic sales initiatives.

Pay

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
