About the role
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is seeking an Analyst, Sales in New York, New York.
Responsibilities
- Engage with major U.S. and global hedge funds to drive high-value transactions through research engagement, corporate access facilitation, and catalyzing opportunistic trading flows.
- Integrate proprietary systems and cross-office insights to optimize client solutions and market strategies.
- Support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding Morgan Stanley’s market share and enhancing overall sales execution.
- Strengthen and maintain connectivity between US and London operations to foster continuous innovation and competitive differentiation.
- Create detailed market content notes to distribute to applicable clients and drive U.S. based client engagement.
- Manage account coverage and advisory efforts for clients in the U.S.
- Foster relationships with key decision makers, CIO’s, portfolio managers, and investment analysts to assist in their capital allocation process.
- Ensure equity sales products are available for clients when appropriate.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field of study.
- Requires two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Analyst, or a closely related occupation.
- Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills:
- equity market analysis;
- financial modeling and valuation techniques;
- market microstructure;
- institutional client relationship management;
- cross-office global collaboration;
- market commentary preparation;
- corporate access coordination;
- client coverage and pipeline management;
- Bloomberg Terminal;
- customer relationship management systems including Client Manager;
- institutional pricing and analytics systems;
- cross-asset investment insight integration;
- regulatory and compliance;
- and supporting strategic sales initiatives.

Pay
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
