About the role

Responsible for leading a team of software developers in designing and implementing innovative solutions to complex problems. Must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software developers in designing and implementing innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for projects.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in regular stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions.
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in software development.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
  • Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of software development tools and frameworks (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Understanding of database design and SQL.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
