About the role

Perform critical work that impacts our industry and global health by problem-solving and innovating in the Pharmaceutical Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) lab. Under the guidance of senior Pharma LC-MS/MS scientists, you will contribute to client success by supporting regulatory submissions for drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies. This includes bioanalysis of drugs, metabolites, biomarkers, and active endogenous compounds in biological fluids and tissues using GLP and GCP methods.

Responsibilities

  • Process samples using extraction techniques such as protein precipitation, liquid-liquid extraction, solid phase extraction, and immunoprecipitation.
  • Prepare study records and data summaries for senior scientists to aid in client updates and archiving.
  • Independently create basic experiment plans and set up instrument configurations.
  • Perform and/or verify calculations related to reagent preparation and/or sample analysis.
  • Review information and documentation for accuracy in conjunction with ALCOA+ principles.
  • Process and summarize data using Analyst, Sciex OS, Chromeleon, and Watson.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another life science field.
  • Basic ability to use (or learn to use) balances, pH meters, centrifuges, and pipettes (air displacement, positive displacement, volumetric, etc.).
  • At least one year of experience in a GLP laboratory environment or equivalent wet lab experience.
  • Working knowledge of ALCOA+ documentation as it relates to GLP work (a plus).
  • Experience with LC-MS/MS techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
