The Program Support Division (PSD) provides a variety of supportive services to CDPH programs and is located in downtown Sacramento, across from the Capitol Park Rose Garden.

About the role

This position supports CDPH’s mission and strategic plan by coordinating Program Support Division (PSD) training activities, managing PSD SharePoint and intranet resources, and supporting Operational Support Services (OSS) project and process improvement efforts.

Under the direction of the Supervisor I of the Policy, Training and Administrative Services (PTAS) Unit, the Analyst II develops and supports PSD training, manages intranet and SharePoint content, and assists with OSS operational projects. Responsibilities include creating training materials, coordinating logistics with subject matter experts, communicating training opportunities to PSD staff, and conducting research and analysis to support training development. The position also compiles monthly, quarterly, and annual training assessment reports to inform future training needs.

The Analyst I classification is distinguished from the Analyst II by scope of responsibility, complexity of work, independence of action, decision-making, and level of supervision. The classification consists of three alternate ranges, with increasing responsibilities as the Analyst advances.

This is a 12-month Limited Term position with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent.

In July 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025, which temporarily reduces employees’ monthly base pay by 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. The salary ranges shown do not reflect this reduction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PSD training activities, including developing training materials and managing logistics with subject matter experts.

Pay

Analyst II: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable.

Analyst I (alternate ranges):

• $3,861.00 - $4,839.00 (Range A)
• $4,181.00 - $5,233.00 (Range B)
• $5,014.00 - $6,276.00 (Range C)

Schedule

• Full-time, 12-month Limited Term position.
• Hybrid telework arrangement.
