About the role
The position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by overseeing various complex technical analytical tasks related to program policy, procedures, and interpretation of the State Administration Manual (SAM) and the Public Health Administration Manual (PHAM) as related to Center for Health Care Quality (CHCQ) Facilities, Fleet, and Asset Management Programs. The Analyst II will enforce applicable requirements/standards and is responsible for preparing documents, reports, and making recommendations to senior management relating to all facility operations and space planning.

Requirements
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience in technical analysis or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with facility design/floorplan software/space planning is desirable.
Qualifications
Must have excellent customer service skills, ability to establish workload priorities, work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, project management experience, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
Skills
Strong analytical skills, ability to prepare and analyze data, and proficiency with facility design/floorplan software/space planning.
