Job Description and Duties

This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by coordinating Program Support Division (PSD) training activities, managing PSD SharePoint and intranet resources, and supporting Operational Support Services (OSS) project and process improvement efforts.

Under the direction of the Supervisor I (Sup I) of the Policy, Training and Administrative Services (PTAS) Unit, the Analyst II develops and supports PSD training, manages intranet and SharePoint content, and assists with OSS operational projects. Responsibilities include creating training materials, coordinating logistics with subject matter experts, communicating training opportunities to PSD staff, and conducting research and analysis to support training development. The position also compiles monthly, quarterly, and annual training assessment reports to inform planning for future training needs.

The Analyst II works under the general direction of the Supervisor (Sup) I of the PTAS Unit.
