About the role
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Office of Legal Services (OLS) is seeking an Analyst II (will consider an Analyst I) to provide administrative and analytical skills and support to the twenty-three attorneys within the Public Health Programs (PHP) team. This is a Permanent, Full-Time position located in Sacramento. We support CDPH and its programs in working to protect and improve the health of Californians.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and analytical skills and support to the twenty-three attorneys within the Public Health Programs (PHP) team.
- Subject matter generalists with independent or lead responsibility for varied and complex projects, cases, programs, or assignments pertaining to litigation and house counsel legal matters that the PHP team handles for the entire Department.
- Support the implementation of the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025, which temporarily reduces employees' monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits.
Requirements
This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly base pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027.
