ANALYST II
About the role
The Program Analyst II position provides complex program knowledge, administrative, technical, and analytical support services related to Disability Insurance (DI) Strategic Plan goals and objectives. The role includes providing technical assistance to the FOD Support Unit 1, partnering with Support Unit 2, acting as a team member on projects with statewide impact, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on enterprise-level projects.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical assistance to the FOD Support Unit 1, partnering with Support Unit 2.
- Acts as a team member on projects with statewide impact or as a SME on enterprise-level projects.
- Serves as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all new IT applications deployed for field office use.
- Develops and writes issue papers for the Supervisor I on various issues affecting operations in the field.
- Acts as a liaison between the Field Office and the various branches within the Employment Development Department.
Requirements
Requires extensive program and procedural knowledge in the processing of work in Disability Insurance (DI), Workers Compensation, or Overpayments or Appeals. Must possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in all computer applications, adaptive skills to handle issues, collaborative abilities for optimal results, work well under pressure, provide clear and concise instructions, interpret data and research information for solid recommendations, thrive in dynamic environments, and manage time effectively with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications
Must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in program and procedural knowledge in the processing of work in Disability Insurance (DI), Workers Compensation, or Overpayments or Appeals. Alternatively, a combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per Month
