Analyst II
Job Description and Duties
CalRecycle is looking for an Analyst II who is self-motivated, creative, and customer focused to conduct field surveys and data research and analysis in support of the Beverage Container Recycling Program (Program). The incumbent will inform and advise leadership on program rates ensuring the rates are the most accurate rates feasible to properly compensate consumers and industry while protecting the solvency and integrity of the California Beverage Container Recycling Fund.
Minimum Requirements

Desirable Qualifications
- Experience conducting surveys and research, and performing data and statistical analysis.
- Experience presenting ideas, data, information, and recommendations orally and in writing.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
- Experience with customer service.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Database management and design skills.

Pay
$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per Month
Schedule
This is a 24-Month Limited Term position that may become permanent. Beginning July 1, 2026, CalRecycle staff will be office centered, requiring employees to report to the office at least four days per week. This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program needs. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the positions designated headquarters location, as reflected on the duty statement and at their own expense.
