Amazon SEO & Conversion Strategist

About the role

One of our clients is seeking a high-performing Amazon SEO & conversion strategist with deep expertise in organic growth, content optimization, search performance, and conversion rate optimization. This role emphasizes improving organic rankings, keyword visibility, conversion rates, and revenue through data-driven Amazon listing optimization using Amazon-native data sources such as Search Query Performance (SQP) and Brand Analytics. This is an organic-growth-focused position rather than a PPC-focused role.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize product detail pages including titles, bullet points, A+ Content, images, and video.
• Analyze listing performance to identify conversion barriers and develop recommendations to improve engagement, conversion rate, and revenue.
• Provide creative direction for imagery, video, and content enhancements.
• Develop and execute keyword strategies to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
• Identify high-impact keyword opportunities, ranking gaps, and areas for organic traffic growth.
• Monitor keyword rankings and evaluate the impact of content optimization initiatives to increase non-paid traffic, keyword coverage, and share of search.
• Use SQP to analyze the customer search funnel from impressions to clicks and purchases; identify funnel drop-offs and diagnose root causes (content, pricing, visibility, etc.).
• Leverage Amazon Brand Analytics to assess competitive positioning and search behavior and uncover high-value search opportunities.
• Use Amazon-native data to support optimization decisions and measure results.
• Align organic search strategy with PPC initiatives to maximize overall search visibility and performance.
• Partner with creative and content teams to implement listing improvements and ensure traffic-generation strategies are supported by conversion-focused product content.
• Communicate performance insights, recommendations, and priorities to cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience improving Amazon organic rankings, conversion rates, and revenue through content optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Search Query Performance (SQP) and Brand Analytics.
• Strong understanding of Amazon SEO, keyword research, listing optimization, and organic search growth.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing product detail pages to improve conversion.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate Amazon data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with content, creative, and marketing teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in consumer products, health & wellness, supplements, beauty, food, or other competitive e-commerce categories.
• Understanding of Amazon marketplace metrics: search visibility, CTR, CVR, organic ranking, and share of search.
• Experience coordinating Amazon SEO and PPC strategies.
• Strong grasp of customer search behavior and e-commerce conversion funnels.
