Airport Agent

About the role

Breeze Airways is seeking Airport Agents to join our Seriously Nice™ team. Our Airport Agents work both at the airport and remotely to support Guests through various digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Provide a Seriously Nice experience during check-in and boarding
• Engage with Guests through digital channels to provide solutions and information
• Empower Guests by offering solutions and answering questions
• Mentor others as your skillset expands
• Resolve Guests' concerns with kindness
• Recommend improved processes through ingenuity and integrity
• Stay up to date on new product releases and participate in educational opportunities
• Work in multiple programs and on multiple screens simultaneously
• Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Diploma
• At least 18 years old
• Two (2) years of customer service experience
• Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Multi-channel customer engagement experience (SMS, chat, email)
• Willingness to work with a station trainer to learn how to operate a jetway
• Reside within 25 miles of Orlando International Airport
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move items of 50 pounds or more on a regular basis
• Ability to communicate by radio and other devices
• Ability to observe, judge distances, identify surroundings, hazards, aircrafts, and equipment
• Ability to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Eligibility to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge in accordance with TSA requirements
• At least two of the following required documents to acquire SIDA badge at Orlando International Airport:
• Authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
• Valid driver's license
• Passport
• Flexible schedule allowing work during nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to respond on short notice for occasional mandatory overtime
