Airport Agent - ABI

About the role

Airport agents at SkyWest are responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing various tasks such as ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, and resolving customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail on/off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers that arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers
• Escort passengers and special-needs customers safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• Service aircraft as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Adaptability to changing priorities and time management skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• This is a part-time position, starting at $14.50 per hour
