Afterschool and Camp Manager- FT

SUMMARY: The Afterschool and Camp Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the execution of educational camps and after-school programs, managing a budget, developing and meeting revenue goals, supervising camp and after-school staff, marketing programs, creating partnerships, engaging parents, and developing educational, hands-on science programs. This position also serves as a Floor Manager as needed, supervising staff and public programs on the Museum floor. Must be available to work holidays or weekends and overnights as needed for events and other museum activities. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required, in education, environmental science, biology or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a museum or educational camp or aftercare setting with an emphasis on operations and customer service. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs. Requires excellent interpersonal, motivational, conflict resolution and supervisory skills.
