After School Teacher - Part Time

About the role

You will lead, coach, and mentor less experienced educators, implement tailored curricula, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will partner with parents, center staff, and community contacts to ensure high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities

• Support center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Foster positive relationships with families and stakeholders
• Lead and mentor teaching staff
• Implement individualized curricula
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment
• Partner with families and community contacts
• Support center success and community engagement

Qualifications & Skills

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
• Absent CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• 2-3 years of early childhood experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education advantageous
• Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and engage physically with children required
• Proficiency in English communication necessary
