After School Teacher - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers, modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
• Implement curriculum tailored to meet each child's unique needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment conducive to play and learning.
• Partner with parents to ensure high-quality care and education.
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, staff, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.

Qualifications & Skills

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills, with ability to multitask effectively.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy; preferred state trainer status.
• 2-3 years early childhood education experience; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, meet state-specific qualifications.
• Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds, work indoors/outdoors, and engage physically with children.
• Proficiency in English for communication with children and parents.

Pay

• Hourly range of $16.90 to $22.85.
