Responsibilities
- Perform clinical activities such as histories, exams, assessments, and diagnostics.
- Manage patient care using established protocols, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Document health information accurately and clearly.
- Educate patients and families, promote self-management, and coordinate follow-ups.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate APP students and healthcare trainees.
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and trainees.
- Participate in professional development, quality improvement, and community outreach.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Contribute to departmental goals, participate in committees, and support clinical research if applicable.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in nursing or Physician Assistant program, recognized by accrediting bodies.
- 3+ years of clinical experience in a similar role and 5+ years overall.
- Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, including specialty certifications as applicable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
