About the Role

Provides professional nursing care through independent and delegated medical functions, applying scientific principles across specialties such as Emergency, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Urogynecology, Oncology, and Rheumatology.

Responsibilities

  • Collects patient data and formulates accurate diagnoses.
  • Develops and implements treatment plans.
  • Performs procedures within scope of practice.
  • Educates patients and their families.
  • Documents care and manages emergencies.
  • Promotes culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team.
  • Adheres to safety standards and organizational policies.
  • Conducts assessments and formulates treatment plans.
  • Performs procedures and participates in quality assurance.
  • Demonstrates leadership, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to maintaining clinical competence.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of diabetes management experience (Endocrinology preferred).
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certifications including prescriptive authority, RN licensure, and national provider ID.
  • Preferred certifications: CDE/CDECS, ACLS.
  • Maintains ongoing professional development.
  • Complies with legal and organizational policies.
